Musical Monday: The Ocean on His Shoulders (Bioshock)

Have I SERIOUSLY never posted this before?  Have I not posted ANY Bioshock Music?

Huh.

Anyway, this is the main theme of Bioshock (Cohen's music is actually a really funny abberation.  Basically, the composer didn't understand the directions behind composing the theme, ( it was supposed to be discordant rather than insane) He played it, and the 2K looked at eachother and went "Well, that wasn't what we were expecting, and we liked it!)   The song "The Ocean on his Shoulders" mainly plays when you see Rapture for the first time.

Also, it's gorgeous.  I use it as a ringtone because it's VGM (which I love) but it sounds professional (which is also great).  It's the right amount of beauty and disturbing content which is perfect for Bioshock since the world is such a mix of beauty and horror.
