Bwahaha, I'd forgotten how much I love that song. FFV is one of my top 3 Final Fantasy games that I've played. I hope to replay it sometime in the future.
You know I'm not sure if it's the same version that came on the Anthology disc. That's the one I played and I just remember it being that much more fun because I played with a friend. And well, Boco the Chocobo is just awesome.
Of all the FF villains I've had the pleasure of battling against, I think Ex-Death from FFV is probably the most brutal.
If I recall correctly, the anthology allowed for multi-player. My friend could play as someone in my party. His job character class was a Red Mage...so useless! Hahaha, it was great.
ExDeath sent multiple towns into the Void whereas someone like Sephiroth (who is my favourite) merely burnt one to the ground.
That's small scale destruction on Sephy's part even though I know he was summoning Meteor to wipe out the earth but still, ExDeath successfully destroyed lots of towns and castles in one go. I thought that was pretty awesome (because I'm all about my fictional villains!!!!).

ReplyDeleteReally? Cool! I want to play V at some point. But I need to find a copy... is the PSN version any good?

Played with a friend? Did you take turns or what? And I'm sure Boco is awesome.
DeleteWhy is he the most brutal?
